DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AUTOMATED PALLETISING WITH THE USE OF INDUSTRIAL ROBOT

Our client decided to automate the bag palletising process which used to be performed manually by operators. The client had an industrial robot, suitable for the process, and part of the equipment for the bag transport system. The task was to design the whole line and redesign the bag gripper, loading station and other components of the line.

Scope of works:

  • Mechanical design of the robot palletising station
  • Mechanical design of the bag transport system
  • Mechanical design of the gripper for 6-axis palletising robot
  • Risk analysis and design of safety system for the palletising station
  • Design of instrumentation, control and automation for the station
  • Prefabrication of measurement and control cabinets
  • Complete on-site assembly
  • Preparation line controller, control panel and industrial robot software

Thanks to the launch of the palletising station, we released two FTEs.
